Our Narrowband/ Multiservice solutions include Dynanet, Dynanet+ and Connection Master product families which are designed specifically for dedicated networks. In dedicated networks (such as utilities) telecommunications is not the core business, but reliable communications are still needed to support mission-critical activities.
Dynanet and Dynanet+
Dynanet offers a broad range of interfaces with varying capacities to meet the different needs of primary access networks. Dynanet+ extends the capabilities of Dynanet with support for SDH, Ethernet, and SNMP. This range of supplementary cards are fully compatible with Dynanet and can simply be added to an existing subrack.
Robust products for the harshest environments
Dynanet and Dynanet+ provide highly robust products that are suited to even the harshest operating environments and the most extreme temperature ranges. They deliver very high reliability through:
• Careful quality control for components
• Distributed power supplies
• Traffic protection and hardware redundancy mechanisms (1+1, N+1, et cetera)
Additionally, low maintenance requirements and long product platform lifecycles mean these products are very much 'fit and forget'.
Future proofing your existing investments
Dynanet+ allows you to migrate legacy PDH multiplex mountain equipment (8, 34, 140 MB) to low-cost Next Generation SDH or use spare capacity to provide new packet-based services. Our Dynanet+ products provide genuine Ethernet-based services (not just token Ethernet-compliant interfaces). Dynanet+ cards can be freely mixed with Dynanet equipment and easily added to an existing subrack.
Customer references
Dynanet and Dynanet+ products have been supplied to a number of customers in Utilities, Transportation, Public Sector and Enterprises by our channel partners.
In Malaysia the largest electricity utility company - Tenaga Nasional Berhad have been using Dynanet since 1989.
Our Dynanet products provide communications for a Train Management System (TMS) used in Mumbai for Indian Railways' 6.6 million commuters. The TMS supports the integrated management and monitoring of train movements and signaling, as well as planning train routes, diversions, and the introduction or withdrawal of services.
Dynanet+ helped an Australian gas company deliver TDM (E1 with legacy voice & data) as well as switched Ethernet services to 10 remote sites along a pipeline. They chose to use our products in their communications system because of their solid reliability, long service life cycles, and our commitment to continue investing in R&D.
Hardware redundancy provided double protection: on both the E1 and optical path levels.

Connection Master
Connection Master is Nokia Siemens Networks' new platform for dedicated networks, and builds on over 20 years of experience serving customers in Utilities, Transportation, Public Sector and Enterprises. It provides feature rich broadband access and transport based on Next Generation SDH and optical Carrier Ethernet.
Connection Master is backwards-compatible with Dynanet and Dynanet+ and can be combined in the same subrack.
Optimized for low Total Cost of Ownership
Just like Dynanet and Dynanet+, Connection Master is built to last. Its extended platform life cycle is longer than typical carrier platforms, providing an enduring solution that allows you to spread your initial CAPEX investment over many years. Our modular system is fully scalable to provide the optimal solution to your needs - at the right price.
High build quality ensures that products are durable, and have low field maintenance costs. Support for a wide range of operating temperatures means that there is less need for air conditioned equipment rooms. And minimal use of external cabling makes Connection Master easier to provision and reconfigure also.
Improved performance
Connection Master delivers a big increase in performance when compared to Dynanet. It offers quadruple the capacity, and 45% less power consumption - for a much lower price
